The Willows has a consistent staff team many of whom have a wide range of qualifications that are recognised by the Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC). All of our staff have a wealth of experience which they bring to their role, whether as a parent or through training and working in a variety of early years settings. In each room there are key staff working set hours in order to ensure consistency for the children in our care. The Willows also employs part time staff who work in all base rooms and over varying hours in order to maintain high levels of child/adult ratios at all times throughout the day.
Rigorous recruitment procedures are in place; potential new staff are all interviewed, references are sought and DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks are taken before they begin their employment with us. All new posts are subject to a three month probationary period.
